Forum Contains No New Posts Politics of Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh is composed of most of the eastern half of the Deccan plateau and the plains to the east of the Eastern Ghats. It is the 43rd Largest state in India. The northern part of the plateau is generally considered as the telangana region and the southern part is known as rayalaseema. In August 1947, the areas currently within the state of Andhra Pradesh were divided among the princely state of Hyderabad, the Madras Presidency and the Mysore state. Hyderabad State acceded to the Indian union at the completion of Operation Polo in September 1948. Potti Sriramulu worked towards unifying all the Telugu-speaking people, who were residing in the united madras presidency, into one state. Soon after his death due to an indefinite hunger strike in December 1952, the then Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru announced the state of Andhra would be formed which occurred on 1 October 1953 with Kurnool as capital. However, the princely state of Hyderabad which had been placed under the temporary governorship of the defeated Nizam from 1948 was reorganized as a separate state known as " Hyderabad State " in 1953 Burgula Ramakrishna Rao as Chief Minister. As per the recommendations of the States Reorganisation Commission in 1956, Andhra Pradesh became among the first states formed on a linguistic basis on 1 November 1956 by uniting the telugu speaking parts of Hyderabad State,Mysore state and the Andhra State.

Forum Contains No New Posts Ploitics of Assam
Assam became a part of India after the British occupied the region following the Treaty of Yandaboo of 1826. It is known for Assam tea, large and old petroleum resources, Assam silk and for its rich biodiversity. Assam has successfully conserved the one-horned Indian rhinoceros from near extinction, along with the tiger and numerous species of birds, and it provides one of the last wild habitats for the Asian elephant. It is becoming an increasingly popular destination for wild-life tourism, and Kaziranga and Manas are both World Heritage Sites.[3] Assam was also known for its Sal tree forests and forest products, much depleted now. A land of high rainfall, Assam is endowed with lush greenery and the mighty river Brahmaputra, whose tributaries and oxbow lakes provide the region with a unique hydro-geomorphic and aesthetic environment.

Forum Contains No New Posts Ploitics of Bihar
Bihar remained an important place of power, culture and education during the next one thousand years. The Gupta Empire, which again originated from Magadha in 240 CE, is referred to as the Golden Age of India in science, mathematics, astronomy, religion and Indian philosophy. The peace and prosperity created under leadership of Guptas enabled the pursuit of scientific and artistic endeavors. Historians place the Gupta dynasty alongside with the Han Dynasty, Tang Dynasty and Roman Empire as a model of a classical civilization. The capital of Gupta empire was Pataliputra, present day Patna. The Vikramshila and Nalanda universities were among the oldest and best centres of education in ancient India. Some writers believe the period between the 400 CE and 1000 CE saw gains by Hinduism at the expense of Buddhism.[31][32][33][34] Although the Hindu kings gave much grants to the Buddhist monks for building Brahmaviharas. A National Geographic edition[35] reads, "The essential tenants of Buddhism and Hinduism arose from similar ideas best described in the Upanishads, a set of Hindu treatises set down in India largely between the eighth and fourth centuries B.C."

Forum Contains No New Posts Politics of Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh's gross state domestic product for 2004 is estimated at 12 billion USD in current prices. After partition, this mineral-rich state produces 30% of the output of the old Madhya Pradesh state. The state has immense potential to graduate into the league of advanced states provided it gets a far sighted political leadership and adequate planning especially in the area of higher studies as well as technical education.
